Some Varied Information about Shaun.

Shaun Loftus paid her way through college writing for magazines, websites, and other mediums.Though not all of it was ‘naughty’ – much of it was. No, you cannot read any of it. She is duly embarrassed.

She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in theatre and a near-minor in several other topics. She stayed in college a VERY LONG TIME. She interned at the American Conservatory Theatre and seriously considered going to seminary until she found herself ‘in the family way.’ She is an inveterate introvert, happiest when buried in card catalogs. Shaun has an inexplicably deep love of microfiche readers. The more obscure and difficult information is to track down, the happier she is.

Shaun has directed, produced or served as dramaturg on more than 50 productions.

She has had screenplays optioned, has adapted several works of literature for the stage, and has co-developed and been the production editor to two works of fiction, both of which have been in the best-seller lists on Amazon since publication. Two additional books are currently underway. With her background in theatre, she has a keen ear for dialogue, a knack for character-arc, and the ability to spot a plot hole from a mile down-the-road. Because she is a nerd, she adores research, fact-checking and world-building.

Because drama never pays, Ms. Loftus became an early adapter to the WWW, learning HTML, online marketing, graphic design and has served as the marketing director for several start-ups. Her duties have included marketing strategy, ad purchasing, and design, user interface and SEO. Her current marketing clients are rising in the Amazon rankings, enjoying best-seller status, and enjoying their new author platforms. She knows her way around CTR, CPM, ROI and all the best acronyms.

She lives with two dogs, two cats, one husband, and a child in a falling down farmhouse in the gardens of a palace in the center of Florence, Italy. She has met royalty, learned to curtsey and to not wince while pinching herself.
